Salvadó Alexandre
About the winery
Salvadó Alexandre is a small family project in Verdú, in the Urgell area, within the D.O. Costers del Segre, which sets out to tell the story of the family and the land through its labels, as if the bottles were gradually building a book. For now there are three wines. Eixida is a fresh, fruity white from Chardonnay with a touch of Macabeu, whose name evokes the rows of vines and the project's first step out into the world. Perpètua, a Macabeu white, is dedicated to grandmother Perpètua Cartañà. Sebastià Alexandre, a red from Ull de Llebre and Cabernet Sauvignon with structure and ripe fruit, pays tribute to Sebastià Alexandre, who appears on the label with the first tractor he was able to buy after years of working the land with a mule.
