Serralada de Marina
About the winery
Serralada de Marina brings together vineyards in Sant Fost de Campsentelles, Martorelles, Montornès del Vallès and Santa Maria de Martorelles, in the Vallès Oriental, within the D.O. Alella. The vines sit on the inland slope of the range that gives the project its name, on sandy, free-draining sauló, with shadier aspects and a more continental climate than the Maresme side, which produces wines with marked acidity and plenty of energy. They farm organically and Pansa Blanca is their signature grape. Their labels include Santa Maria, Quatre Termes, Castell Ruf, Iaia Rosa and El Pas de les Bruixes. The wines are made at Can Roda, where the winery can be visited.
