Sidra Acebal

◍ Asturias

About the winery

Our origins go back to the end of the 19th century, when Benito Acebal began making cider by hand in his own home, mainly for family consumption. His son, known as El Fraile, built the current building in 1925 and installed the first industrial presses in Asturias. The third generation was responsible for boosting the business during the 1970s and 1980s, also starting to modernise the bottling process by acquiring machinery for washing, filling and corking the bottles.
