About the winery
In 1918, after the First World War, Mr Francisco Villanueva Suárez founded the cider house in the same place where it stands today, next to the cider bar that shares its name, Casa Fran. He ran the business until 1944, when he died and his wife, Mrs Aurora del Valle Díaz, took the reins of the cellar for nineteen years, until 1963, when her sister, María del Valle Díaz, took charge of the business together with her husband, Mr Víctor Ramos González, who finally handed over to their sons, Víctor and Roberto Ramos del Valle.
