About the winery
Sidra Menéndez has its own 8-hectare plantation devoted to growing cider apple trees, with varieties covered by the Sidra de Asturias Protected Designation of Origin and certified organic by the Council for Organic Agricultural Production of the Principality of Asturias. The plantation is made up of small orchards of native varieties located in the Fano and Valdornón valleys, some of them on the very estate where the Sidra Menéndez facilities stand, forming a landscape of singular beauty.
