About the winery
Trabanco is synonymous with natural cider. Since 1925 it has been made with the best apples of selected varieties, following traditional methods. Emilio Trabanco worked hard to fulfil the family's dream of founding its own company. In 1925 very good cider was made in Lavandera, and its fame soon conquered Gijón. His dream was to bring this new cider to every corner of Asturias. The first harvests were really hard. The rain was constant and complicated the task of “pañar” (gathering the apples).
