About the winery
A winery sheltered by the sierra. On the slopes that descend from the Sierra de Cantabria, the landscape is superb. To the north, the mighty limestone rocks. To the south, the vast Ebro valley. Ábalos sits in a high, cool and bright location, surrounded by vines on austere clay-limestone soils. Here we founded our winery in 1988, inspired by original nature and by the wisdom of a village devoted for centuries to growing vines.
