Solana Roivert

About the winery

Solana Roivert is a mountain winery in Salàs de Pallars, in the Lleida Pyrenees and within the D.O. Costers del Segre. It revives family vineyards and a tradition that in the village goes back centuries, to the days when houses turned into inns during the cattle fair. In 2024 it opened a new winery in the middle of the vineyard, which lies between 600 and 700 metres, with sharp day-night temperature swings and clay-loam soils with rounded stones over limestone bedrock. It farms organically, is energy self-sufficient and makes wine with spontaneous fermentations, native yeasts and minimal additives. Its guided visits end with a tasting among the vines, either five wines with cheeses and cured meats or six with a pairing of Pallars products.
