About the winery
Tinto Redreja is a family winery in Valtiendas (Segovia), in the D.O.P. Valtiendas, with more than a century of history. It stands on the old press house where grapes were once trodden, the wine then ageing in clay jars in the underground cellar, and four generations have adapted it to the times while keeping to natural winemaking. It works only with grapes from its family vineyard, La Redreja, which gives the brand its name: a high plateau at 960 metres with sand, clay and pebble soils, farmed organically and with Tinta del País as its main variety. It makes Tinto Redreja Joven, Rosado Redreja Selección and a Moscatel white, all certified organic.
