About the winery

The Union of Raisin Cooperatives of the Axarquía (U.C.O.P.A.X.A) was set up in 1980, bringing together eight cooperatives with 700 member farmers who grow Moscatel grapes in the Axarquía area, in the province of Málaga. Ucopaxa sorts, packs and markets the raisins produced by its members under the trade name “El Pasero”. Its average annual raisin production accounts for approximately 70% of the total production of Málaga raisins.
