About the winery

Valdealto is a family winery in the Sierra de la Moneda, some twelve kilometres from Mérida, on an estate surrounded by Mediterranean woodland and scrub whose winegrowing history goes back to Roman times. The family speaks of a tradition of more than three centuries and seeks wines that express origin and soil, with balance, freshness and elegance, aged in French oak barrels and foudres. The range consists of Supremum, the flagship; Valdealto Paraje, the house emblem; Primum; a rosé; a late-harvest wine and a Viognier white. They offer visits to discover the winery and how it works, and the estate also hosts weddings and events.
