A small, avant-garde artisanal cava house near Barcelona. The noble Vilarnau family settled in this privileged land of the Penedès in the 12th century. Vilarnau is the etymological result of Vila Arnau, that is, the “country house or Domus” of the Arnau family, which lay within the seigneurial jurisdiction of the Castle of Subirats and where vines were already grown in the 12th century.
