About the winery
The Viña Arnáiz winery and vineyards are located in the municipality of Haza, in a strategic spot where Juana de Haza, a Castilian noblewoman, began growing vines at the foot of her fortress in the 12th century. These vineyards spread and their fame grew throughout the land thanks to their extraordinary quality. Our winery stands on the site of that fortress, with 80 hectares within the La Magdalena estate, which includes vineyard plots on gentle slopes where we grow the traditional Tinta del País alongside new varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
