Viña Mambrilla

◍ Burgos

About the winery

Viña Mambrilla is the Arranz family winery, founded in 1999 in Mambrilla de Castrejón (Burgos), within the D.O. Ribera del Duero. It has 70 hectares of its own Tinta del País vineyards, between 790 and 850 metres above sea level and facing south-southeast, which shelters them from the sharp temperature swings of the Ribera. Its wines are made unhurriedly, allowed to evolve naturally and following family tradition. Highlights include the Alidis range, from vines grafted from the family's century-old vineyards, which has won gold medals at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Visits are available in Spanish or English and the winery is wheelchair accessible.
