About the winery
Viñas del Jaro is located on the outskirts of the town of Pesquera de Duero, in what is considered one of the most emblematic wine-producing areas in Spain, the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. The winery was founded in 1997 on the basis of the 65-hectare Finca El Quiñón, following an oenological philosophy of constant study and analysis of the different sectors and pagos of our vineyards, planted mainly with the Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) variety and with two small plots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
