Viñedos de Alfaro is the company behind Real Agrado, a winery in Rioja Oriental located in the municipality of Aldeanueva de Ebro. Its story began in 1974 with the planting of almost 100 hectares of vineyards between Aldeanueva de Ebro and Alfaro, whose grapes went into other wineries' wines for more than 30 years. In 2005 the owners built their own winery and made their first wines, and since 2018 it has belonged to Grupo El Gaitero. It works only with grapes from its own vineyards, stated on the labels with the words «viñedos en propiedad», and combines a classic Rioja range with the Colección Raíces, single-vineyard wines made in limited quantities. Its brands include Real Agrado, VA!, Canterabuey, Rodiles, La Lobera and Las Planas. The winery offers visits with tastings, vineyard activities and tasting sessions.
