About the winery
To make Thémera wines, the oenologist González Granado chose the land of Peñafiel, an extraordinary town with a winegrowing tradition located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. There the oenologist has developed his professional career since 1998, and there he maintains strong personal and family ties. The Ribera del Duero in Peñafiel is characterised by a combination of excellent qualities for making good wines: the land, the microclimate and a native grape that produces magnificent and complex red wines.
