About the winery
Vinya l'Hereu is a family business with a long winemaking tradition in Seró, in the municipality of Artesa de Segre, at the foot of the Pre-Pyrenees and within the D.O. Costers del Segre. It farms around 14 hectares of its own vineyards on clay soils with a continental climate, and makes organic wines, certified by the CCPAE, exclusively from its own harvest. The varieties it grows are Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, aiming for fresh, balanced wines that show the character and potential of this area on the edge of the mountains. Winemaking is led by Pep Aguilar Foz and Patri Morillo Frontan.
