I.G.P. Bajo Aragon

Among centuries-old olive groves and the sierras of southern Aragón, the I.G.P. Bajo Aragón is split between the provinces of Teruel and Zaragoza and totals 16 wineries you can visit. A land of oil and wine, it invites quiet wine tourism where you can filter the wineries by experience and book your visit with tasting among dry-farmed landscapes.

Garnacha is the queen of these lands of continental climate and poor soils, accompanied by Tempranillo and the whites Macabeo and Chardonnay, for frank, fruity reds and fresh whites. It is a region tied to the Empeltre olive and the Teruel truffle, whose wines pair wonderfully with char-grilled meats, migas and cured cheeses on any wine route of the Matarraña.
