About the winery
Art Laietà & Celler de les Aus (formerly Alta Alella) is a family-run organic winery in Alella, a few kilometres from Barcelona, set in the Serralada de Marina Natural Park and overlooking the Mediterranean. It makes D.O. Alella wines and D.O. Cava sparkling wines on sauló, the sandy granite soil typical of the area. Behind it are Josep Maria and Cristina, who have devoted their lives to wine and cava, and their daughters Mireia and Georgina, who grew up among vineyards, harvests and bottles.
