Bodegas Bordejé

About the winery

Bodegas Bordejé is a family house in Ainzón, in the Campo de Borja D.O., making wine since 1820. All the grapes are estate-grown, from vineyards in the foothills of the Iberian range in the shadow of the Moncayo, and no sulphur or copper is used in their treatments. They grow Garnacha, with very old vines in some family plots, as well as Macabeo, Tempranillo and Chardonnay, the base of their cavas. The reds ferment at controlled temperature, macerate for about fifteen days on the skins and age in American oak. The range runs from a Chardonnay brut nature cava and a Garnacha rosé cava to reds such as Don Pablo, Abuelo Nicolás, the Garnacha gran reserva and Pago Milenio. Its cellars are open to the public and house the Miguel Ángel Bordejé Art Room.
