About the winery
The Frutos Villar family has been linked to vineyards and the world of wine for a very long time, but it was at the beginning of the 20th century that this bond intensified, beginning a business journey in wine, contracting and selling wine from the Toro region locally. With that entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit, we got ahead of the Designations of Origin and in 1920 created a winery in Toro, our first winery. Some time later, with the same initiative and vocation for progress and renewal, we built another winery in Cigales in 1960.
