Deep in the earth, our finest wines rest in a young, modern winery. Tradition and technology come together to produce the best wines of the Ribera del Guadiana. Bodegas Romale was founded in 1989 and is located in Almendralejo, capital of Tierra de Barros and the nerve centre of the Ribera del Guadiana D.O. It is an exceptionally privileged land for growing vines, with fertile, nutrient-rich soils formed of red clay over limestone rock, at an average altitude of 500 metres above sea level.
