About the winery
Bodegas Roura. Covered by the Alella, Cava and Catalunya Designations of Origin, it makes high-quality wines mostly from noble European vines, which have adapted perfectly to the conditions of the area. In the beautiful setting of Vall de Rials, in the early 1980s, Roura conceived the project of continuing a task begun more than 3,000 years ago by the Phoenicians, which reached its greatest splendour under the Roman Empire. There is historical evidence that Alella wine was exported to Rome from 140 BC.
