About the winery
Cellers Maset is a Penedès wine house that presents itself as a grape grower since 1390 and pays tribute to more than six centuries of the Massana family's history in the area. Besides the Penedès, it makes wine in the Priorat and in La Rioja. It works with a long list of varieties, from the local xarel·lo, macabeu, parellada or malvasia de Sitges to grenache, carignan, pinot noir or syrah, and its wines include the Mattiana red from the Penedès, the Mas Viló white from the Priorat, the Pell Nua orange wine, the organic Eufòria rosé and the 1917 cava. In La Granada, in the Alt Penedès, it has an immersive audiovisual visitor centre, and at the winery it holds themed tastings of its wines.
