Palacio de Villachica

About the winery

Palacio de Villachica is a wine group based in Toro (Zamora) that makes Tempranillo in three appellations: D.O. Toro, D.O. Ribera del Duero and D.O.Ca. Rioja. It takes its name from a historic palace in Toro and from the story of Victoriana Villachica, its last occupant, known locally as the Marquise of Villachica. Its wines include Arbocala Toro Crianza and, in Ribera del Duero, El Batallador, Palacio de Villachica Crianza and Dehesa de Don Diego, as well as the rosé Felizia. They offer guided visits of their facilities with tastings of wines from the three regions and local appetisers, a version with the winemaker, and paired menus for groups.
