About the winery
The winery, opened in 2006, is already one of the largest in La Rioja. It is located near the river, with views of the mountains of Rioja Alavesa. It combines tradition and modern architecture. Large chimneys and a glass façade burst into the landscape like a ship. The barrel hall features a fir-wood frieze. A statue of a woman grape-picker with her basket of grapes welcomes visitors to the Pagos del Rey winery, a symbol of the region's long winemaking tradition.
